Spreading the love

Not all of us have access to the latest broadband technology, so if you want to try open source technology but are unable to download it yourself, contact us. We'll download it, put it on CD or DVD for you, and express post it to you anywhere in Australia, or standard air mail to New Zealand and the Pacific. 

We charge $19.80 (Postage and GST inc.) and our current favourites are:

• TheOpenDisc - A collection of free open source applications for Windows.
• OpenOffice.org - A full featured cross-platform office application suite.
• PortableApps Suite - Open source applications that run from a USB key*.
• Ubuntu Linux - A very user friendly Linux distribution.
  and Kubuntu, Edubuntu, Xubuntu, server or alternate versions.
• Debian GNU/Linux - Community developed and supported Linux distribution.

Of course, once you get your disc, you're free to make as many copies as you like and continue to spread the love amongst family, friends and colleagues, that's what it's all about.

* USB keys are are not always easy to come by. If you don't have one, let us know and we can arrange to send PortableApps preinstalled on a USB key of your choice.
